Madame Fu Calls on Minister Johnson Smith
Madame Fu Ying, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee (FAC) of the National People’s Congress of China (NPCC) ( left), headed a six-member delegation to Jamaica from May 13-15. Included on her itinerary was a Courtesy Call on Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith , Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (right) on Friday, May 13, at the Ministry’s Dominica Drive offices.
Minister Johnson and Madame Fu discussed the Fourth Plenary Session of the 12th NPCC; the Republic’s 13th five year programme; the economic and social development of China; and issues surrounding Caribbean regional cooperation.
